Meet Amy Paul

Hi, I’m Amy!
I’ve spent the last 19 years in the eye care industry, and I can honestly say I still love what I do. I began my healthcare career in 2005 and found my niche in eye care billing in 2007. For more than 12 years, I directly managed the revenue cycle for a busy optometry and ophthalmology practice, giving me firsthand experience with both the challenges and rewards of keeping a practice financially healthy.
Over the years, I discovered that I especially loved the problem-solving side of RCM. There’s something incredibly satisfying about untangling a complicated billing issue, finding revenue that may have been overlooked, or simply figuring out why something isn’t working the way it should.
Eventually, that experience and passion led me to start AP Revenue Cycle Solutions. What began with independently managing a few accounts grew into the company and team I’m so proud of today.
Beyond the Billing.
When I’m not immersed in claims, denials, and spreadsheets, you’ll find me enjoying life on the coast of North Carolina with my husband and our dog, Dutchess. We love spending time outdoors, tackling home projects, and making the most of coastal living. It’s where I recharge, and often where some of my best ideas for AP Revenue Cycle Solutions come to life.
I feel incredibly fortunate to have built a career around something I genuinely enjoy, while getting to know and work alongside so many wonderful practice owners along the way.
